    have a user name and password, there is a link to a page where you
    can sign up.
  • When you Login, you will reach the Merchant Services - Options.
    Select the ad type you want and complete the form and select
    your payment option

RATES: Our rates are as low as possible to give local merchants a
low-cost, high-profile option during the economic recovery.
YOUR FIRST 3 MONTHS ARE FREE for Standard Listings or
City Directory with Link Listings. New Featured Listings are
credited $45, or the equivalent of 3 months at $15.

FEATURED LISTING – Includes Featured Listing on the Category page
(shopping, dining, etc.) PLUS a merchant page and the option to participate
in any and all the Weekend Planner and Guest Pass offer mailings that
are appropriate and fit your marketing plans.

In addition, you can request to have a blog post when something noteworthy
occurs in your business. You may also add a short video to your merchant
page or a blog listing.

Here’s some exciting information about the success
of the Winnsboro Online Guide:


In 2010, the marketing and advertising program will help drive traffic.
Since August, 2009, we have relied almost entirely on word of mouth
and online searches by potential visitors using Google almost exclusively.

From August through mid-December, the site has had 13,859 visits and
a total of 44,083 page views. Averaged over the first 4.5 months, that’s
3,080 visits per month and almost 10,000 page views per month.
Depending on the season, weekly and monthly visits vary.

The music video has been viewed over 1,400 times - an average of
more than 300 views per month. The short Shop & Stroll video was viewed
more than 420 times from late November to mid-December. We will be
doing more videos, as video is a great way to increase visibility while also
providing a window into our unique small town lifestyle.


Top pages benefit business owners:


Dining, Shopping, Lodging and Relocation are all in the top 8 pages viewed.
The other four include the Home page, Blog, City Directory and Events.
This tells us people are using the site to find place to eat, shop and stay.

The City Directory has moved up in prominence and is now consistently
the 3rd most visited page, the 3rd top entry page and the 3rd most exited
page. That means people are returning to use the directory as a quick
reference to find what they need.

The Blog is the 2nd most popular entrance page, after the Home page, and
provides and excellent opportunity to promote your upcoming events and
new products.  The Ladles to Linens drew visits from the search term
“Tyler Florence,” whose cookware was featured on the blog.

When you tap a hot niche market, the blog can really boost attention.
A last minute notice about the Blue Belle Ball create a rush of inquiries.
We included the Ball in the Weekend Planner, sent a solo mailing the next
day and posted an article on the blog.

Within a day, of sending the solo email, over 300 people went directly
to the blog, which indicates someone received the email promotion and
forwarded it.

We had a spike from a typical 100 visits a day to 785 visits resulting in 892
page views that correspond to the email promotion. The following day was still
higher than normal at 218 visits and 284 page views.
