Winnsboro Christmas Parade to be held Saturday, Dec. 3, 10 am - 11 am on Main Street!

This year's Christmas Parade, sponsored by the Winnsboro Chamber of Commerce, will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10 am - 11 am along the traditional parade route on Main Street.

The theme this year is "A Homemade Christmas."

This is always a a fun event with all the charm that makes small town parades so special.  The kids are wide-eyed and the seniors smile as they sit in their lawn chairs to watch the decorated cars, floats, tractors, horses, band and cheerleaders and even tractors and ATVs roll by.

Winnsboro Chamber of Commerce Business EXPO/Health Fair attracts area residents Oct. 1, 2011

The Winnsboro Chamber of Commerce hosted the 13th Annual Business EXPO on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011. This year, a Health Expo was included, which offered free flu shots and screenings for those who attended.

An annual favorite event for locals, the EXPO was free, including complimentary refreshments and lunch.

There were drawings for prizes and plenty of free giveaways at the various booths.

Nonprofit organizations and numerous health care services exhibited alongside the local businesses.

The event coincided with the launch of the newly updated Chamber of Commerce site at www.winnsboro.com.

care services at the EXPO.



Exhibitor tables were loaded with merchandise
brochures, and giveaways.

Melanie Parton showcased merchandise from
the many gift items in Scott's Pharmacy.



Jackie Strydom, real estate agent and owner of
Liefie on Main Street, displayed a sampling of
the items sold at the store.

 

 

July 4th Fireworks in the Park

The Chamber of Commerce presents an all-day celebration at City Park on Monday, July 4.

Fireworks begin at dusk and are always spectacular. Kids can bring their swimming suits and towels. The firemen will be on hand to cool everyone down with water sprayed from the fire truck.

Enjoy a great family day with your friends and neighbors.

The 54th Annual Awards Banquet will be held this week on Thursday, April 7th.


The doors open at 6 pm and dinner is 6:30 pm - theme "Heartbeat of America, Small Town & Small Businesses".

 

The Chamber extends an invitation to everyone to enjoy an evening of great silent auction items, dinner, speaker and presentations to The Man, Woman, Teacher, Business and Agricultural Awards of the Year.

Spring Show:
Sat., April 16, 9 am - 5 pm
Sun., April 17, 9 am - 4 pm

Fall Show:
Sat., September 10, 9 am - 5 pm
Sun., September 11, 9 am - 4 pm

Guns - Knives - Bows - Boats - ATVs

Admission $5 Adults; $5 Seniors
Kids under 12 free (must be accompanied by an adult)

The outdoor Expo is free!
