Community Food Pantry benefits from Shopping Cart Drill Team food drive

This past weekend, the Winnsboro Merchants Shopping Cart Drill Team performed for the new Community Food Pantry located at "The Rock" building on Broadway.  Christine Entwistle, a VISTA Volunteer, reports that severla hundred dollars worth of food was contributed - some at the performances on Friday, as well as donations that were dropped off at Art & Espresso.  In addition, $80 in cash was raised. 

Plus, the Drill Team was in top form, including Mayor Carolyn Jones who joined the team this month.  The precision shopping cart performance and the food drive was part of the 3rd Friday/CRAZY DAZE weekend.
